I began with Dr. Mike in his office in Sonora 20+ years ago. He sold the office and I moved to Modesto, but continued to see him in Stockton. I still make the commute from either Sonora where I work, or from Modesto. I would NEVER go anywhere else and I highly recommend not only Dr. Mike, but Dr. Janice and now Dr. Von Tersch, who today finished a bonding on my teeth to strengthen them at the gumline. Beautiful job! Everyone in the office is like family: Ida, Perry, Joyce, and Maria is super-fantastic as my hygienist. The up-to-date care received and the caring individuals at Deer Park are second to none. Five stars from me!

After having an absolutely terrible ordeal with a different dentist in Stockton; I was fortunate to find Dr. Scott and her team at Deer Park Dental. What a huge difference it is!! They all are super friendly, and truly made me feel comfortable and confident in choosing them. I emailed in a state of panic, and within one business day had a response and an appointment. Thanks Joyce! I was seen by Dr Scott within a two days due to my scheduling. Dr. Scott thoroughly examined my teeth, and went over treatment for the mishap at the other place. I feel 100% better after my visit, whereas the last place I left in tears. All the "treatment" that the previous dentist required was actually not needed at all. I feel that Dr. Scott and her team truly has my best interest. They're about patient care which is essential and very much needed in the medical field. I feel confident in the whole Deer Park Dental. It was hard to leave my trusted dds in Tracy. I felt like I was cheating on them. But the Moreno Dental Group made me feel right at home. They have handled my dental needs for three years and I couldn't be happier even if they are not always thrilled with my oral habits. Like cutting fishing line with my teeth. And chipping my front tooth. Twice. Both times they fit me in to their schedule ASAP and sent me back to face my students with a complete smile. A fine, well-honed practice ready to meet your needs.

After years of fearing the dentist, I was thrilled to find Dr. Von Tersch. He is gentle, careful and thorough in caring for my dental health, I have recommended him to friends and will continue to do so. I have been going to Deer park Dental for 15 years. Dr. Janice Scott, Dr. Christopher von Tersch and Dr. Michael Moreno are caring and knowledgeable in their field. They are always patient with my children. I lived in Stockton for 11 years and went to western dental and some other dental office that messed up a filling. Dr. Scott fixed my tooth and set up a cleaning for me. When it was time for my daughter to start getting her teeth cleaned the office made sure she was comfortable she didn't want to sit in the chair so they subjected that she sit in my lap and that worked my daughter let the hygienist and Dr. Scott work in her mouth and when she had a cavity at age 6 I was afraid that she was going to be traumatized because she had to get a Novocaine shot. Ida and Joyce told me not to prepare her before the appointment and to just let Dr. Scott tell her what was going to happen. Dr. Scott explained everything to her in a way that a 6 year old could understand. Dr. Scott gave her the shot with no problems and did the filling. When I moved to Elk Grove I tried different dentists big mistake. I went for a cleaning and they didn't even scrape the teeth just polished them. I took my 2 year old there and he would not sit down for nothing he was crying too. I took him to Dr. Scott a week later she was patient with him. He sat on my lap while the hygienist cleaned his teeth and Dr. Scott looked at his teeth. It was amazing he didn't even cry there is something about this office that made him feel at home. It took 2 years but finally he decided that he didn't need to sit on my lap anymore and he sat there like a big boy. Now my baby is 7 years old and he had his first cavity and I was afraid of how he was going to react so I sent my husband with him to Dr. von Tersch. He explained what was going to happen and what to expect. He was receptive to Dr. von Tersch and didn't even feel she shot he said. I often get asked why I go so far for a dentist. I tell them that this is the best dentist in Stockton and I cant find any office just like it. I go to Deer Park Dental because of the people that work there they are always happy, they know what they are doing from the front office to the back, the hygienists, dental assistants, and all 3 doctors you can not find any one better. Dr. Mike is funny he always has a joke for you. The office staff is very accommodating they always schedule my children and me at the same time and we almost have it down to 2 hours. The office is 40 miles away from my house I would never go anywhere else They are the best office.

I recently had several dental issues corrected by Dr. von Tersch. He filled a cavity, repaired a chipped front tooth, and filled in a gap between my two front teeth. Dr. von Tersch did a phenomenal job and I'm more than satisfied with my results! He's not only meticulous and pays very close attention to detail, but is personable and makes the whole dental experience enjoyable! I fully recommend Deer Park Dental for any and all dental needs.

I am beyond impressed with Dr. Janice Scott DDS and Dr. Christopher von Tersch DDS. I've suffered with dental issues for years and have been to several dentists without getting to the root of the problem. I finally traveled cross country specifically to see these amazing two dentists, who completely turned my situation around and gave me a beautiful, healthy smile again. They're talented dentists overall, but I am especially impressed with Dr. Scott's crown work and Dr. von Tersch's composite fillings. Both of them are truly artists--and it takes an artist to fill in the gaps in a mouth like mine that was full of decay and have the end result look so seamless. You absolutely can't tell where my real teeth end and fillings/crowns begin.
