Dr. Sheen has such a beautiful way about her. I have dental anxiety and she made me feel less anxious with her words and caring manner. I am so happy she is my dentist!
Deer Park Dental has been the answer to my prayers. After not having dental work done since before COVID -19, it’s been a struggle to find a safe and convenient location to get my dental needs completed. The first day I walked in, Ms. Peri welcomed me in like family. She got me an apointment the very next week. DR. Sheen did my initial evaluation offering me many options and supporting my opinions. I felt validated about my concerns and in control about my treatment. The hygienist Tracy was amazing! The office manager Joyce, has been wonderful. She is working close with me and my financial situation to give me the best care. Dr. Von Tersch has the best bedside manner. He took away all my anxiety about going under the drill. His assistant gave me a warm blanket and adjusted my pillow before starting the procedure. Overall I can’t imagine going anywhere else for my oral needs.
Deer Park Dental is A+. I started with Janice when she was just out of Dental School. Never have had a bad experience. Dr. Sheen is a great addition. The staff goes out of their way to assist. I recommend them highly!!!
I’ve been going to Deer Park Dental for the past year now and thanks to the individualized care and and advice of Dr. Jenny Sheen and her staff, they (and I) have seen a noticeable improvement in my dental health after I stopped getting cleanings during Covid lockdowns. I appreciate their timeliness, fair pricing, clean and comfortable office, as well the overall proficiency of their friendly staff. I used to dread going to the dentist, but now I actually look forward to it, with the improvements I’ve been experiencing. I would happily recommend Deer Park Dental to all my friends and family!
I have been using the services of Deer Park Dental for several years and have been very happy with them. They respond to things that come up very quickly and do a nice job. My husband and children also love them. I have referred friends there also and have heard nothing but good things. I would most definitely recommend. They rock!
You guys did a bridge for me and it was the most painful experience I ever had. The temp they gave me broke, and when the bridge came in the lady cracked it. We did another temp bridge that broke again. She shaved my tooth more and finally put on a bridge but honestly I throbs constantly. I lost my job during covid and don't have dental insurance but I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with the work they did. My jaw and tooth are always hurting and it seems to get worse every month. I wish she wouldn't have tried doing this procedure if she wasn't skilled enough to actually do it. I swear there's a hole or something wrong. Today I finally had it. I really wouldn't recommend this place.

Always have great visits here. All the staff is very courteous, friendly and professional from the receptionists to the doctors. Dr. von Tersch makes filling cavities relaxing, as hard as that is to believe. I actually fell asleep.April 07, 2023
Excellent services! I trust Dr. Janice and I feel that I am in good hands each time I visit my dentist’s office. When our future plans changed to include leaving the area in the near future, the office arranged for me to come in the next day and then worked to expedite procedures to provide a night guard before we leave in two weeks.April 06, 2023
My last family dentist eased my fears by offering me headphones and nitrous oxide during my visits. Until I met Doctors Scott and von Tersch, I thought those tools were the only ones that could get me through dental work. They encouraged me to let them work on my mouth without the crutch of nitrous oxide, but said it was always an option if I needed it. The two of them worked diligently on me during alternate visits, cleaning my teeth, filling cavities, and giving me 9 new crowns (8 in just 2 visits!) without any nitrous. They held my hand when I was scared, spoke to me gently, gave me extra anesthetic when I had breakthrough pain, pulled back when I needed breaks, and did a dozen other things to put me at ease. With the compassion and care that these two amazing dentists and their teams showed me, I finally overcame my fear of the dentist! I don’t think I’d trust anyone else to drill my teeth without nitrous oxide, but these two dentists have won my trust for life. I’ll be flying cross-country to see them for my 6-month check-up soon; that’s how truly amazing they are!April 05, 2023
I’ve been a nighttime tooth grinder since childhood, which has done a number on my teeth and jaw. I’ve crushed many fillings and spent countless years suffering from the discomfort of TMJ.
